Amber Cosmetology

TRBC was commissioned to sculpt a tunnel-like volume in a commercial block into a fully functional cosmetology clinic with a pharmacy, consultation rooms and different sets of treatment rooms. The brief was to target a high-profile clientele and project a luxuriant and indulgent experience. In a departure from our minimal approach, we tried to integrate a bit of curated excess, detail and elements that evoke glint and glamour. This was toned down and contrasted with jewel tones in the upholstery. The sharpness of spaces was toned down by rounding off the passages that lead into rooms on either side.
